guitar in dock. the long trick is over.

did these illustrations for fun, usually while I was working on a piece of music or learning to play a new instrument bought on my travels.
The best format to show them I can think of so far is by the page so click the page numbers and enjoy.

Guitar in Dock

This is very like being lost in a dream, where different bits of life and time and objects all overlap and intertwine. Where I’m never quite sure what kind of space I’m in, or what's going on or even how I got there in the first place.
But I am quite comfortable with this kind of dreaminess, it’s familiar and warm, even though it does have that edge of unsorted angst about it.
What are those things and who are those people ? I’m sure I must know.
There’s a guitar tied to a dock wall, and the plucking oar is still in the rowlocks. Tuning pegs tension piano keys which alternate from the horizontal to the vertical plain constantly.
The performer is tied to the intricate mechanics of the piece and a blue note is attached as a counter balance on a device known as an over blow suppressor.
Every thing is perfectly clear.
