MUSO MASK
This picture is a follow on from the Music Head, revisiting the same territory, but with more of the paraphernalia of life spilling into it. This is something I like to happen, since it’s life that feeds my imagination. I like the confusions of ideas, a certain amount of chaos keeps things fresh and exiting I think. The finger from the hand on the left goes right through the head to the stop button in the ear on the right, This is not because I want things to stop. No not at all, it’s only to freeze the frame, otherwise how else could you see it. As I do this I am also pushing the pencil drawing the plans for the music being made in the bottom right corner. Whistling Billy Bass in the bottom left reminds me, I could go fishing ? Or do I continue to hold on to the bird that is constantly trying to fly out of the door in the back of the picture? What does the bird represent? Why is it made out of metal? There are always strings attached, holding me back, and I often wonder where I would end up if there were none, The USB connection straight in to the forehead represents the question “What's going on in there” the picture is the answer.
