I did these illustrations for fun, usually while I was working on a piece of music or learning to play a new instrument bought on my travels.
The best format to show them I can think of so far is by the page so click the page numbers and enjoy.

After Hampi

On the main street of Hampi bazaar in southern India, there's a large corrugated iron structure, inside which is stored hidden from view and only rarely taken out, a giant wooden ceremonial chariot.
This picture sprang from there. The buildings in the picture are loosly based on the tower that overlooks the elephant stables and the Queens palace.
The whole of Hampi is made of granite. At night the music from the temple washes over the bazaar and mingles with the cacophony
of frogs croaking in the paddy fields

Mixed Media
Drawn with pen and ink but ended up as a photoshop file and included photos of Hampi, then was printed as a giclee on canvass.
